Created by some of the greatest clinical minds in history, the American Heart Association (AHA) prides itself in educating, preventing and researching heart disease.
Heart Disease is the number one cause of death among women in the United States. Shailja has partnered with AHA to continue spreading awareness of the threat of heart disease in the form of “Go Red for Women”. She believes that working with a strong and established organizations such as AHA can help build healthier communities. In addition to volunteering at events, she was honored to serve on the “Go Red for Women” auction committee.
